BLOOMS ON BLACK
The idea of post editing images to select out blooms, then place them against a jet black background seems to be something I'm going to focus on and develop further. Experimenting with the process, I saw a whole new image emerge once the bloom was separated from distractions of its background foliage and other blooms.
What's left is the pure character, stark beauty, texture of sunlight, leftover morning dew playing on the bloom(s). The results were simply beautiful. I hope you enjoy them as much as I.
